
Nettlecombe Court.
Last time…
- Got there at lunch time.
- Team games, battleships, welly wanging and that step thing.
- Stream dipping, searching for different types of freshwater animals, bugs etc.
- Setting out mammal traps to be opened the next morning.
- Went for a night walk around the grounds to see if we could find any tracks from animals.
- Free time J watched TV played games etc.
Next morning…
- Breakfast, fry up.
- Went to open the mammal traps and Aaron found a wood mouse.
- Left…

This time…
- Settled in
- Played team games outside, welly wanging, thing with a drainpipe and an orange…
- Nature walk around the woods, looking for tracks and listening for bird and animals.
- Setting mammal traps in the back garden to catch mice or voles etc.
- Free time
Tuesday…
- Opened the mammal and found 4 wood mice, most of them found in the dark and sheltered bushes.
- Went to classroom and talk about the things we would find at a rocky shore.
- At 10.45am we went on the bus to the beach at watchcet and looked for rocky shore animals we found crabs, anenomies and limpets and a lot of sticky mud.
- At 1pm we had jacket spuds with a selection on toppings after lunch we wrote our blog for the website (which is this)
- At 5 we did arts and crafts in the class room were we decorated tiles using things we had found on the nature walk and down the beach.
- At 6pm we had dinner of pizza and chips.
- At 7.30 we went out for a bonfire.
- At 8.45pm we came back into the centre (good timing it was just starting to rain).
- 9.00 we socialized with the other people enjoying the last night at Nettlecombe.
